Privacy Policy

TradeAutoX is a wholesale marketplace for licensed dealers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what we share. It is written for dealerships and their staff — TradeAutoX is a business-to-business service and is not offered to retail consumers.

1. What we collect

Account information. Dealership name, contact name, email address, phone number, dealership ZIP code, wholesale license number, and a photo of your wholesale license (used to verify eligibility).

Marketplace activity. Vehicle listings and auctions you post, photos and documents you upload (such as verification reports), bids you place, and messages the platform generates about that activity.

Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we store the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers needed to manage your membership.

Technical data. A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and basic device, browser, and server-log information needed to operate and secure the site. We do not use advertising trackers.

2. How we use it

We use your information to: verify your wholesale license and eligibility; operate the marketplace (listings, live auctions, and radius-based search and alerts, which use dealership ZIP codes); bill your membership; send account, billing, and auction notifications; provide support; prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with the law. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

3. What other members see

Your dealership name appears with your listings and auctions, and other members see approximate distance based on ZIP code (never a street address). Your contact name, phone, and email are shared with another member only when the two of you are parties to an accepted auction bid, so you can complete your deal. Your license photo and license number are visible only to TradeAutoX administrators for verification and are never shown to other members or the public.

4. What we share

We share information only with: Stripe (payment processing); the hosting and email providers that run the site and deliver notifications; and authorities when required by law or to protect the platform and its members. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure. We keep account and transaction records while your membership is active and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting, dispute, and legal purposes, then delete or de-identify them.

6. Your choices and rights

You may update your dealership information from your dashboard. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us; we will respond within a reasonable time. Some records may be retained where required for legal or accounting reasons. Whatever state you are in, we honor access and deletion requests on the terms described here.
